It is clear that the little clique that you have going, which for a long time fed john11inch's abusiveness on this board, is what is bringing this board down.

To you that is how it is. To me, I don't see myself in any clique - there are just a few instances recently (or rather, just one - slow's recordings) that I happen to see eye to eye with a few others here.

As for perfect_pitch:  Perfect_pitch was an example I gave as someone who seems incapable of producing emotion through his instrument.  It was related to the OP.

Whether it's true or not, it's not very nice is it?
And really, quite funny how you've managed to seemingly figure out perfect_pitch but not slow_concert_pianist...;D

As for slow concert Pianist:  if you feel the ridicule of him is justified, then continue if you wish and I wlll continue, as I did with John11inch's bullying, to call you on it.  It doesn't matter what you think a poster's history is, if you continue the cycle of ridicule, you bring the board down.  And yes, unfortunately the byproduct of that is having people like me not stand by (like so many bully-watchers here do) and passively watch it happen.

Trust me, I do think and feel the same way about my now seemingly constant vilification of slow_concert_pianist. I really don't think it's nice at all. But note that, in the beginning, I did try to be honest in the nicest possible way. And note that essentially I just want the best for him...regardless of how he plays, he needs to practise!

So have fun - whatever you and your little clique feels works for you.  Keep bullying newcomers and ridiculing those who you have pigeonholed and you keep the really serious pianists away from here.

Damn, I'm not a really serious pianist am I...:-\
Anyway, if you feel pigeonholed, then my bad. That is not my intention.
I do seriously disagree about your prognosis as to why the really good pianists are not here anymore though. But ah...whatever...

No you aren't serious.  Serious pianists don't do what you are doing.

And no, I personally haven't been pigeonholed - I was referring to what you and your little clique tend to do to others on this board - particularly newcomers that really just want to get involved with the board but have to deal with the "little rich kid" syndrome that you and your clique spread around here.

Iiih! What is a "Clique"?!? I've never in my life heard that word, and now you've said it like 1000 times? :(

Again, None here wants you any bad. What I've noticed, all we (or at least I) did was to tell you not to spend too much time on Slow_concert_pianist, because it wont help.. we've tried, a lot!

Anyhow, welcome to the forum..

adaubre it is nice to see how your delusions are progressing. You seem to have all the answers; perfect_pitch plays piano with no soul, I insult people with recordings, prongated is not a serious pianist, there is an exclusive clique on pianostreet which is restricting "serious" pianists from being a part of pianostreet... what's next in the incredible world of adaubre?

Lost,

You are still doing it.  You can't stop, can you?  Please, continue if you wish.  Perhaps you can invite your good friend john11inch back to join in on your fun.  Both of you have the amazing ability to deny what is obvious: that people like you and him on this board make the board a bad place for real professionals to hang around.

But go ahead - hey, its your sandbox, isn't it?  I would also consider that you look up the meaning of Projection Bias because that is also something you have in common with john11inch.

Be thankful you're only accused of being like john11inch.  I suspect that if you guys were more familiar with audrey's posting history, you would be far less concerned about her validation of your musicianship or anything else.
What passes you ain't for you.

And what is it exactly that I am doing? Throwing in the random 2 cents every now and then, as well as posting a few recs on the audition room? Why do I get a feeling you put me in that category simply to fulfil your thesis about how there is no serious pianist in this forum? Ah well, whatever...I've had worse in my musical journey thus far ::)

...and uh, "little rich kid" syndrome? Hahahahaha! ::) Nothing further.

It's funny... I just thought "Huh... prongated seems like a very reasonable and intelligent person"  But if you don't like it, then bad for you =/

...well, it was 3am, and I just finished a gruelling session of...Chinese Bridge :-[

So really, adaubre has a point there. And I will take heed of the suggestion. So with this I sign off into hibernation :)
