Poll

When there are two(2) numbers below two(2) notes either in the Base or Treble cleff, does the first number represent the note on top?  Sometimes I'm a bit puzzled.  Please explain.  Thank you.

Identifying Notes Correctly
on: April 14, 2010, 06:38:39 PM
Hello to all:  I am a Grade One student and I enjoy discussing and learning as much as I can about music in general, so I am happy to be a part of this forum. I look forward to your responses to my question. Bye now...

Wow - you like to make things complicated for yourself, don't you?   Just like the layout of the notes: top = top, bottom = bottom.     Funny how things sometimes take awhile to click, huh?  I always have a hard time remembering if there's a "r" between "u" and "p" in surprise!   Took me years and automatic spell check to get it right.   ;D
