Train of thinking

Can you suggest me some exercises in order to stay concentrated?

How to improve my train of thinking, my concentration?

Think through chords or chord progressions in every key.  Say them in your mind.

Just majors and minors can take awhile.  And it takes some concentration to stay focused.  At least for me.

I've found speaking helps.  Just to point out something.  Identify something.  Respond to something.  And having a goal and plan in place so you know what you're supposed to be concentrating on.

Doing those things in time too.

Hi Faa2010

I'm unable to suggest any exercises that may help concentration, but what I do is (1) I see the music, (2) I see the keys, (3) I feel my fingers on the keys as I am playing, (4) I notice that there is light coming from above but most important of all (5) I picture (for want of a better word) all around me the colour black.

This may take some time for it to be of any assistance if you want to try it. I've been doing this for so long, I rarely loose concentration except for when I get tired. But the downside to this is that being so deep in thought, if my telephone rings I nearly hit the ceiling and begin to hyperventilate.

All the Best,

Энтони.

There aren't any exercises.  I find diet helps, especially staying away from grains - they fog my brain.  Traditionally rulers have always eaten meat.
