Recorded at home on fairly basic equipment, but you get the general idea.
All comments and suggestions welcome!

I realize that i'm replying to my own thread, but my original post seems to have been swallowed up by threads from someone who it seems is entirely indifferent to others' opinions (though strangely people persist in giving them). Anyway, from someone who IS looking for advice and feedback, please let me know what you think!

This is a very sensitive, very musical and thoroughly competent rendering of a piece that deserves to be better known.  You play beautifully, and I have no advice to give but to keep doing whatever you're doing.

And I think you were entirely justified in bumping your own thread under the circumstances.  :)

I thoroughly agree.  I liked that very very much.  These pieces are so rarely played, and you do this one beautifully.  Moja pieszczotka!  Very fine playing, indeed.  But it makes me want to hear it on a decent instrument!  Bravo bravo bravo!!
p.s. are you living in Tokyo by any chance?  Just wondering.  I taught at Geddai for a year.

Shanghai, actually (hence the chinese website - youtube is off-limits out here). I wouldn't blame the instrument, it's a pretty decent upright. If anything is to blame it is the recording device (laptop without a proper mic) or of course the pianist!

I plan to do a few more recordings soon (I've just learnt In the Mists by Janacek) which I will also post up.

Thanks for the feedback!
