Thanks. Playing the clavichord is a revelation. If I don't play it a certain way it sounds horrible. It forces me to think about touch, constantly. Plus, it is giving me insights into baroque music, especially the "why" of some of the old voice leading rules. On the clavichord they seem less like rules and more like "what sounds good." Too bad there isn't a "clavichord street" or I might post recordings of baroque pieces as well as improvisations. Maybe it should be "clavichord family room," haha, to pay tribute to the domestic history of the instrument.
