Lady Pianist et al

I've been out of town for a while.  What happened, exactly?
If this work is so threatening, it is not because it's simply strange, but competent, rigorously argued and carrying conviction.

Dumb response is dumb.

I'm more curious about whose recordings they were using.

Dumb thread is dumb.

Any question you might have regarding the incident can easily be found by reading some of the threads that have been linked again and again by different people answering these same questions.

Ones that have answers, anyway.

Someone posted the real youtube video on one of the threads.

Or that guy spent a huge amount of time and energy matching a moving image of himself to a a 12 year old internet prodigy's recording.

Those threads being?  Those answers being?  Thus dumb/useless response is dumb.

If thread is dumb, thanks for your multiple responses to it!

If thread is dumb, thanks for your multiple responses to it!

If you want to know the answer, go search yourself. There have been multiple posts all over the place, I'm not gonna look for them for you.

If my posts/responses are dumb, thanks for quoting and responding directly to it!

john11inch, I think you were the one who started it all. :) It may have been a comment made in jest, but you said something to the effect of thinking Lady Pianist and her La Campanella recording was a joke but then followed it up with a compliment. I responded to your comment by saying that I also harbored a certain amount of skepticism. Then, Roger condemned the "negative" words, and I actually went back and erased my comment! :) Funny, knowing now that he was the same person as LP!!!!

In the same thread, Liszt and Hakki came out and accused the three of being a hoax, all orchestrated by one person. Somehow, Hakki found a youtube video that matched up exactly to Becky's recording of the Scriabin Etude. See...you started it and you don't even know what "it" is. :)  ;) :D

I just happened to be online when the can of worms was opened. Everything unraveled so quickly. There is a thread entitled "hoaxes" in which the administrator confirmed they were all one person. Additional discussions in other threads have gone on regarding the same topic.

It may not be possible to search for these posts as they have been deleted.  Many details are in the hoaxes thread.
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach
