I can understand that DonJuan, I used to feel that way too, but now it is done so frequently that the risk is virtually nil. It took approx. 25 seconds to do each eye, I could have driven home without glasses 10 minutes after having it done. But I had worked all night the night before, so I just stopped off on my way home, had it done, went home to bed, and when I woke up, WALLA.... perfect vision. It was really weird. I couldn't feel anything. Other than having perfect eyesight, I wouldn't have known I had anything done! No pain, nothing....and it was SO fast. I worked that same night, and went swimming at the gym the following morning. I did not experience any difficulty seeing at night. I know dozens of people who have had it done, some on their lunch hour, and no problems.
I do know of one gentleman, he did not acheive 20/20 vision though. It was better, but not 20/20.
I would be more concerned over breaking a finger playing the piano, than going blind from this surgery!

But then again,....with any type of surgery, there can be risks.
I do miss wearing the colored contacs though...those were pretty neat, especially the purple/violet and gold colors. Those were my favorite to wear! Guess I could always get some that are none Rx!
