appropriately named. Now that you mention it, it does sound like a chopin waltz.

Cool, I liked it. Using an existing piece as a springboard to an improvisation is an excellent exercise.

I agree, especially for beginners, using the left hand of a pre-written piece makes for great exercise, good job

Enjoyed your waltz. If you are improvising over a Chopin piece then you are doing just what the Jazz improvisor does. We start from a "lead sheet" which contains the chords (left hand) and melody (right) and then we improvise over that.. Perhaps you should think about getting into Jazz piano :) Liked it!
