speaking of Scriabin, I am familiar with some of his techniques, and I will use a sequence in my next prelude, where the bass leaps down a tritone, and the chain produces a whole tone scale going down.
Not descending 5ths, but descending tritones.This only works when you add a 2, and 6 to the 7th chord, you have the option of keeping the 5, or making it an augmented 4th. At any rate, the dissonances that are not resolved actually are carried over to the next chord, where they become new dissonances.
for example - bass notes: C, F#, B-flat, E, etc.
