Hi : to answer your question, yes I enjoyed this very much. Let me say that what I found most wonderful was you are obviously a pianist who plays within themselves. What I mean by that is there are so many pianists today , who don't know themselves, who they are , what there strengths and weakness's are. Your version seemed to be one that you weren't stretching on. Trying to go above and beyond. i truly enjoy that in a pianist. So many young people especially at the conservatory level just push things to far.

Just one quick comment about your interpretation and what I heard.  Your ability to play large chords was very nicely done. In Comparision I thought the thinner lighter passages while well done, didn't come up to the sound you produced at the piano when Large chordal passages where being played. Of course this is only how I see things and its what makes each of us different.

I really hope you post more often.

Thanks again, kelly

OMG that's so good! considering the epic nature of the piece and the considrable effort one must have to master the difficult piece.
Funny? How? How am I funny?

Hi hakki,

Bravo!  That was an impressive and artistic rendition indeed!  You played all the repeated notes with a refined touch and the virtuosic chord passages with a fiery passion.  Your playing is expressive throughout.  I really enjoyed hearing your recording.

Thanks all for the encouraging comments.

Yes, with  a full time job (not piano related) I really find little time for
serious practice and preparation.

Indeed I had to record this for Liszt's 200 birthday ecital held on www.ecital.net/present.php
I didn't want to break my promise and recorded it anyway for the deadline of October 22nd.

So, I am glad that you enjoyed it.

Please visit www.ecital.net/present.php for other fine performances of contributors.

Hakki

I thought the middle section was very lyrical too, Now that I've reheard it.
