It's not really a "finally" as videogame scores have been on the internet for years. But it's nice to see it in book form outside of Japan. I don't expect the arrangements to be as full as I like them (they never are) so I probably won't be picking it up.
I wonder how good the arrangements are. Some of those kind of books are just cranked out, paid by the hour, from what I've heard.
every once in a while there are good 'amateur' arrangements, this is one of the better mario 'performance solos' ones. To the best of my knowledge it is a non commercial copyright so this is put out for free by the arranger. If it violates some strange intellectual knowledge clause/rule I'll promptly remove it.
I'd like to hear someone's performance of those arrangements. What's the difficulty level? Typical Hal Leonard-ish showtunes level? (Yes, I know it's Alred. I'm just picturing something cranked out.)
I'd say late-intermediate. The book says advanced. It's definitely not dumbed down, they have an "easy piano" version too
if you want 'truely advanced' look no further than 'pianoyn' this guy is amazing and is my recent unsung piano hero, especially when you consider that this performance is done with what are most likely very slippery gloves.manuscript of transcription and mp3 attachedvideo (wheather or not you're into or understand cosplay, the playing is stellar!)
