im going to play in my conservatory's concert on february, but i havent choosen the piece yet.
Id like you to give me suggestions.
Now im working on beethoven's sonata "pathetique" and ravel's "pavane pour une infante defunte".

Please help me!

Id like also to inform you that i prefer romantic pieces, but i dont like to play something very very famous...!

your question is quite right!
but my teacher and me would like something new because we have been working on pathetique for a lot of time and ravel's pavane has been recently played by another student!

this is one of my favorites to listen to over and over lately, i think it's because i keep hearing the theme from the andante mov ii from the symphony 5 in e minor (i do hope i'm not the only one that hears this it's the first thing that jumps out at me, really tckaikovsy is among my favs and had a gift for melody so a rachmaninoff incarnation of it? amazing!)

if you want to play something they might not have heard before, this early solo work by tchaikovsy is wonderful, it took forever but i manged to find an mp3 file of it (at the time there zero you tube vids of this)

op 2 no 1, first piece of the set inthe study score attached, an under performed gem!

Isn't the Pathetique and Pavane por une infanta difunte actually famous pieces?

OT: I recommend any of Rachmaninoff's Musical Moments or Fantasy pieces, any Nocturne by Chopin. Or a Prelude. Something by Bach wouldn't hurt either.
