Improvisation - 12.13.11

Just felt the need to explore a stream of consciousness, and then to share.

This was nice to hear.  I surmise you felt the urge to improvise.  Come back and visit with us more often. :)

This is REALLY nice!!! :) I love your improvisations m1469!  :)
I remember the first time I heard your improvisation when I was really new to Pianostreet so probably exactly about 2 years ago, I loved it sooo much I was listening to it all the time and I had a whole story about it in my head and even when I wasn't listening while I wasn't home I was imagining it all the time. And it was a story about a girl looking through a window and about the rain and the wind on her face and I think at first she was a little sad but then she got really happy... and I wanted to write the story then but I was to afraid everyone would think it was stupid so I didn't...
I have to go listen to that one again! Cause this one reminded me of that one.  :)  8)

Hi Littletune,

Thanks for listening and commenting :).  This is reminiscent to me, as well, of at least a couple of others of mine, one being a prelude I posted as a composition awhile back ... but then of at least one other improv. whose name I don't remember right now.  I wouldn't mind at all and would in fact quite like it if you wrote the story you think of ... and, I'd even invite it right in the thread with the improv. if you felt like it.  Do as you wish, though :).

I will try to find that improvisation and post in that thread...  :) it's kinda funny like going back in time!  Cause for a while I forgot about it and now I remembered it again! And all other things about it (like how I was thinking about it when I was going to my music theory :) and how I was so new at piano street too). I can't believe it's 2 years since then!!!!  :)

Well, I start to realize that this reminds me of a number of other improvs., which is strange and annoying to me, but at the same time *maybe* interesting (since I didn't set out to use repeated material) and OK to me.

There are some things that remind me of the 9/11 one that I did
*Maybe* "Day After" one
"Consistency"
and then that Prelude I mentioned.

hmmm ... probably something else.  I suppose the interesting thing to me about it is that there's obviously material that my subconscious is aware of which is coming back up at different times.  I think that's ... well, I might want to pay attention to that.  I won't go into the annoying aspects of it because I have to allow it to be a learning experience without judgement.

I think my LH might be getting better :).

Oh why would it be strange and annoying? Well I don't even think it reminded me of that one because it would sound so similar... I think it was just because of something else.... I don't know exactly.... like when one thing just makes your brain remember something else, and it can be a completely different thing... well I haven't found it yet, but I think I know why... but now I'm too tired... but maybe I'll send you a private message to ask you something later... but now I'm kind of half asleep.  :P  :)
