Moments Musicaux and Impromptus relative difficulty
on: December 13, 2011, 08:04:13 PM
As the repertoire forum seems pretty dead and I am in a hurry I post my questions here.
I have been wondering, it feels like the general opinion is that the moments musicaux are, as a rule, easier than the impromptus by Franz Schubert. I can agree with that, but aren't the number 4 and 5 from moments musicaux at least just as difficult as some of the impromptus?
To sum it all up I have a few questions:
1.What grade would you set every single one of the moments musicaux and impromptus op.90 d 899 at?
2.What's the relative difficulty of the moments musicaux, from hardest to easiest?
3.What's the relative difficulty of the impromptus, from hardest to easiest?
4. Are any of the moments musicaux as a rule more difficult than any of the impromptus?
Cheers,
