For me that's no. 11.
It's the first one I ever heard and even after hearing the rest, I still love this one the most!

The Transcendentals are among my favourite works for the piano...I personally prefer them to either of Chopin's sets of etudes. It's impossible for me to pick one...I think that 10-12 reach  pianistic heights very rarely (if ever) matched anywhere, and all three are my favourites, as well as 9 to a lesser  extent. But if I had to pick ONE, it would probably be 12, Chasse-Neige.

So hard to pick just one.

Feux Follets - a funny piece that I find myself laughing because it's so good
no10 - fire and intensity

Chasse Neige is the one I like most.
Perfection itself is imperfection.

Same here.

I think they are written in such a way that they can only be fully experienced by performing them yourself- listening to them, however great the performance, is only a portion of the overall picture.

That in mind, I'm going for Harmonies du soir. It's such an exciting piece to perform; the whole thing surrounds you and you forget you're even at the piano.
