Or even a Bach sinfonia too. Any polyphonic composition is good, especially by J.S. Bach. I sya that Fugue is even better because they ahve multiple layers of voices and you have to voice the subject entries to make it stand out and make it musical. That is the whole point of the fugue, in my humble opinion. And don't forget the art of fugue, the ultimate fugal composition and also Bach's ricecars.
Perhaps some Scarlatti sonatas too especially the slow ones where there are sometimes polyphonic.
I recalled once that Czerny composed a polyphonic study on fugues. The sheet music can be found on IMSLP.
