Hm, perhaps "Serenude (for devious instruments)" by P. D. Q. Bach? I like his cantata "Gott sei dank, daß heute Freitag ist", too.

I was going to say 4'33 anyway.

I don't count it as a piece of music. By any stretch of avant garde imagination, Varese's assertion that "music is organised sound" is applicable. Even pieces of music that sound like random gibberish, there is a method to the madness though not to everyone's taste.

4'33, however has no kind of organisation. Therefore, to me, it is not music/a piece, but a cleverly done plagiarism of an age old philosophy. Cage did not "write" anything, and as such can not be counted a "composer" in the context of this entity (not music or piece).

As for whether or not I like or hate it... I do like it. It is quite therapeutic to take time to just sit and listen to your surroundings.

That is my answer to this riddle.

Since Liszt have 'Years of Pilgrimage', I'd love him to compose 'Years of Pilgrimage to Heaven/Hell'...
-a concerto featuring cuckoo sound as the soloist.

And if there is an impossible composition, check out Igudesman's coughing Polka.. I'd love him to write a solo coughing piece.. (just kidding)

Sea Cucumber Concerto by Shitemonger for piano, strings, 12 glasses of water and various bodily functions.

I have found that Shitemonger sounds very similar to Mofart. You cannot accomplish it without true and total relaxation techniques.

Remastered version of 4'33 by John Cage, named Eternity.

I heard there was copyright issues with it.  It will have to be 10% different to be performed legally.
