The Quiet Revolutionary of the Piano – Fauré’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

Why can threads be locked and what does it mean?
on: February 16, 2012, 02:14:18 AM
For those who are thinking I am dumb, this thread is serious. Why are there threads that are locked and what does it mean?
I see that this 'locking thread' feature is found on other forums too but sometimes I see that some threads over here are locked for no reason, apart from the threads notifying a topic being moved to another board.

I imagine threads are usually locked if they violate the pianostreet rules in some way or another. As for threads that don't violate the rules, I have no idea.

Well sometimes their could be an argument about something and the person who made the thread locks it because they don't want to keep arguing.
But Jesus looked at them and said "With man this is impossible, but with God ALL things are possible!"<br /><br />~Jesus Matthew 19:26

Very simply threads are locked because the boss don't want it.
