I've learned the piece back in my second year of piano. I play the prelude much faster, but that's just my personal preference. However, I feel like you're not really comfortable with that prelude. I really liked the fugue, though you should pay attention to your phrasing because the absence of counter-subjects makes it difficult to build tension. Overall, I think you did a very good job with that pieces ;)

Currently learning:

Chopin - 24 etudes op 10 & op 25

It sounds heavy, because you dont phrase. The prelude is basically on the beat all the time. Phrase also the left hand... It's basically the same thing in the entire prelude So just try to imagine how to phrase everything.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful performace. May be its the video mic, sounds loud and dry. I had the same problem too with my old mic. you need to refine your touch. Now you got it all.

Poems of Ecstasy – Scriabin’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

The great early 20th-century composer Alexander Scriabin left us 74 published opuses, and several unpublished manuscripts, mainly from his teenage years – when he would never go to bed without first putting a copy of Chopin’s music under his pillow. All of these scores (220 pieces in total) can now be found on Piano Street’s Scriabin page. Read more
