Olga Dyachkovskaya, Sviatoslav Moroz and Dmitri Shteinberg to perform in Weill Recital Hall
After a triumphal concert last season, the violinist Sviatoslav Moroz, the soprano Olga Dyachkovskaya and the pianist Dmitri Shteinberg return to Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall on March 11, 2003.
The ensemble highlights from the past season include a guest appearance at the Summit Music Festival, the Rhinebeck Center for the Performing Arts, the Orensanz Cultural Center in NY and a number of TV and radio broadcasts across the US.
The artists have also toured individually outside America.
Ms. Dyachkovskaya presented a recital of American Song at the prestigious Oleg Kagan MusikFest in Kreuth, Germany; Mr. Moroz appeared in concerts throughout Europe and Russia; the playing of Mr. Shteinberg was praised by the influential Frankfurter Rundschau.
The program includes violin sonata No. 3 in D minor by Johannes Brahms, five romances by Tchaikovsky, a rarely performed violin sonata No. 1 by Schnittke, four songs by Stravinsky and the very last work by Schubert, The Shepherd on the Rock, originally scored for voice, clarinet and piano, but often performed with violin in lieu of the clarinet.
This concert is presented by LKI Artists International.
The Concert begins at 8:00 Pm; the tickets are $25 and are available at the Weill Recital Hall box office, 154 West 57th St., NY, Tel. 212-247-7800 or at
