Anyone here dabble and know of a good place to learn chord voicings as well as help wrting melody while improvising?

I’m not a jazz player, but know something, too because in a certain point I’ll to jazz.
For piano have a book the Mark Levine called ‘jazz piano book’, it’s a great book! (I do know not upload of pdf, I have it in e-book).
(I think) Yes, written a improvising help, written and play. (In university I had a teacher and he said a lot of time which improvising no exist, because all that you play is studies before playing. The improvising is a “random” construct with this).
Is a good idea play a melody and friend copy it by hearing, him will add a new notes or little modify and you copy.
