Imitations
on: September 05, 2012, 02:22:29 AM
Someone should make a thread where everyone tries to imitate other people on pianostreet.  This would be kinda funny.

OMG WHAT IS WITH THIS BACH GUY? All he does is make you think about a bazillion things at once! 3 part inventions? 8 voice fugues? What is this madness? AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THE WTC!!!!!

 >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( ::) ::) ::) ::) >:( :( :( :( ??? ??? ??? ::) ::)

Hahahaahahhahahahhahahahaha I would say something about you, but you don't have enough posts.

Incidentally, I'm incidentally going to incidentally be incidentally like J Menz.  Incindentally, he uses the word incidentally a lot.

Incidentally, I'm a professional pianist, but incidentally pretend that I'm an amateur so I can get people like Rachmaninoff_forever mad.

Incidentally, everyone needs to take a cold shower because they don't play enough Alkan and Bach.  Incidentally, despite the fact that I use that joke almost every post, it doesn't make sense.

If Rachmaninoff and Scriabin had a baby it would be Valentina Lisitza therefor she is my soulmate...I think I just concluded Rach and Scriabin had a baby.

Somehow, I doubt it. You'd blow a capacitor.  ;D

And when did I suggest you play any Alkan?

That wasn't the question.  When did I suggest you play any?

And "always" is hardly accurate.

Indeed "play" is often innacurate also.  :-[

Point number 1. You're a banana head

Point number 2. You shouldnt be advocating to imitiate others. Do you know why exactly - the processes that occur -  that you shouldn't?

Point number 3 - Of course you don't! That's why you are spouting about willy-nilly. There are so many details you aren't looking at, or possibly unable to even see. Do you wear glasses (point number 4 pointdexter) - do you know they are a product of genetic degredation, which is forseen in other areas of your inaptitude and inep-etude.
Imitating doesnt solve anything; not an end process to the means. There is no way to function or aptly deduce from this backwards process.

It is important to find your own personality, and build on its foundation, and then incorporate other accompanying motives and structures along with it. only then can you see the underlying intentions and truly evolve. Just guessing haphazardly and lollygaggling along half heartedly faking is not an acceptable way and will leave you with improper tools to do the job.

You should ask yourself

Quote
How did life evolve on Earth?

In the book Science, Evolution, and Creationism, a group of experts assembled by the National Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Medicine explain the fundamental methods of science, document the overwhelming evidence in support of biological evolution, and evaluate the alternative perspectives offered by advocates of various kinds of creationism, including "intelligent design." The book explores the many fascinating inquiries being pursued that put the science of evolution to work in preventing and treating human disease, developing new agricultural products, and fostering industrial innovations. The book also presents the scientific and legal reasons for not teaching creationist ideas in public school science classes.

Mindful of school board battles and recent court decisions, Science, Evolution, and Creationism shows that science and religion should be viewed as different ways of understanding the world rather than as frameworks that are in conflict with each other and that the evidence for evolution can be fully compatible with religious faith. For educators, students, teachers, community leaders, legislators, policy makers, and parents who seek to understand the basis of evolutionary science, this publication will be an essential resource.

Sorry that's a place holder for my other argument.

There's context that you lack, you miss the point.

I’ll desist from quoting some amalgam of the above post to save space and because none of the points within it call for argument, although one certainly might call into question - and whether rightly so is another point to be contended with (although perhaps not one to which undue effort should be afforded [potentially given the nature of this thread, of whose character is perhaps in mere jest [this is not to say - and I see no reason to say it, truly - that perhaps the nature of this forum itself might be cause for such a disinterest [given that, one can presume - safely, in my opinion [although my opinion is not above reproach, as some may have tried to point out, from time to time] given that we should have better things to do with our days [that is to say, something involving an actual piano - albeit however satisfying it may be to wax long on such subjects [if one is of that persuasion]]]]]) - precisely whose style of posting monsieur unholeee's post might be assumed to be attempting to emulate...(!)...
