Yamaha c 113-t
on: October 14, 2004, 10:14:22 PM
here's the deal:
i recently bought this piano.
before that i had an old and kinda *squeeky* petrof.
although it is a very good piano (yamaha) it still is a little wierd to me.
never the less,i was wondering if anyone had experiences with this piano because i am not a very big yamaha fan myself.i prefer steinway and sons, and i simply love Bosendorfer,,,,but unfortunatelly those pianos are not so easy to get when you're living where i'm living (and that doesn't matter)
so,any opinions of c 113-t?
thank you!

He,
I used to work in a pianoshop. We did all tyoes so yamaha aswell.
It begins at the C110 (chineese made) then the C109 (the same piano but Japan made) it like 250 USD difference. Then the C113T (in fact the same as the C110) but a nicer look. After that is the P112, then the P121 and then de U1 en U3. My advice was always, if you can go for a grand if not the difference is not that important (not in the first years of your study).
We liked Yamaha becourse of it action. It's a nice piano but I prefer higher. At least 115 cm.
With this hight you have more dynamics (difference between loud and still) and so more music-making-ability
Good luck,
Steven
