on: November 29, 2012, 05:12:40 PM
Ey guys,
does anybody have the sheetmusic for Simeon ten Holt's 'Canto Ostinato', and then a transcription for piano solo?
I read andreas ahlborn has written a transcription, but i cant find the sheetmusic anywhere.

Thanks in advance!

Search it up on the Internet, and if it isn't there it isn't public domain. Don't ask for sheet music in forums.

Stuff like this isnt always that easily accesseble, especially transcriptions, wich are often for free btw.

I did a search and found nothing, so maybe you should order the score on Amazon, they have good prices.

The score is for sale from Simeon Ten Holt's Dutch publisher, Donemus:

https://webshop.donemus.nl/action/front/sheetmusic/3360

There is a 15-page online preview. There is no score for a solo piano version: there's just this one, the whole point about the piece is that you can decide for yourself what bits to play, no matter how many you are.

Good luck to you.

Thanks alot for your link. I guess this will have to do, suppose i'll have to really 'study' this one instead of just playing the notes and make some music of it! ;)

You're welcome! Working with the score isn't that bad, though. Have fun!
