Bach-P&f WTC 1 in A flat major
Beethoven-Sonata No. 8 Op. 13
Chopin-Nocturne in C# minor
Liszt-La Campanella
Rachmaninoff-Prelude Op. 32 No. 10
Beethoven-Sonata No. 23 Op. 57

Looks good. Where's the interval?

And where's my ticket?

scab.

Incidently (and off-topic)..  if someone was charged with creating a false belief, say for conning people into believing they could learn a tough piano concerto in a week, or because they were making a film, and someone that was watching thought it was real and called the police..  how likely do you suppose it is that the conviction will hold up in court?

Intermission?

I'm debating on whether or not to do it at the school or somewhere else in the neighborhood.

The schools Steinway is OKAY, but there's no way I would get 1,200 people to come see me.

I heard there was another Steinway D at a church on the same street at my school, but I'll have to see if they let me.

I think my teacher can hook me up with one at my local college.

But damn, I have to bring everything back in circulation again...  The first Beethoven sonata needs the most work.  Hopefully a week month in a half should take care of that.

If you intentionally create a false belief in order to extract money (or induce some bahaviour), or to create a public nuisance (eg, by calling the fire brigade out to a fire when there isn't one) then you would be liable under various laws.  If your behaviour was such that someone responded by calling the police because you appeared to be acting illegally, it's a bit muddy and would depend on the activity you were engaging in, the likelihood that a reasonable person would respond in such a way and whatever "lawful excuse" you might have.

On the concerto thing, if you said it to someone who was, on the basis of that, engaging your services for a performance, you'd be liable in a civil suit. Just boasting to the world at large would not be illegal at all.

Intermission?

It's a long sit for the non musos without a short one.

yeh I thought it was pretty muddy.. I don't know, i think the police got pretty heavily involved. I stumbled across a news article thismorning showing one of my good mates from highschool in court over having staged a kidnapping for a film that the police mistakenly investigated due to a report made by an onlooker..

..probably a pretty dense move to not put up some signs near by saying it was staged while they were doing it... doesn't surprise me though.

I read the law on it, it says you have to 'intentionally' create a false belief, and I don't see how they were doing that.. i'm thinking the police will probably argue they failed to take adequate precautions or something.

........

more on topic, I wouldnt accept the ticket without an accompanying plane ticket anyway (or else it would obviously still cost you a lot).. so you probably get a pass on being a scab.

Hey I'm freaking provide food for them!

They have to freaking deal with it!

Besides, the Bach may disengage them, but everything else will have them at the edge of their seats!  Everyone over 72 will die of heart attacks because of my playing!  It's gonna be THAT good.

Atually I'll be happy if less than half of the people leave half way.

It was that very case I was thinking of. I think they're safe on appeal, but magistrates are a funny lot and anything could happen at first instance.

wouldnt

Making up for the extra one yesterday?

And I clearly should have specified "tickets". Scab status restored.

Your maths is somewhat lacking.  And there's no excuses for not knowing the classics in any major field.
