Interview with Jonathan Biss
on: June 13, 2013, 02:40:58 PM
Hi Everyone,

Hope you're all having a great week. Here is our interview with Jonathan Biss, who currently teaches at the Curtis Institute. He talks about: the Beethoven Sonatas, the Schumann Concerto (which he performs tonight in San Francisco), and his grandmother, who played chamber music with Horowitz and Milstein.

Thank you all for reading :)

Great interview. Biss comes across as a highly intelligent, sensitive gentleman. His praise for Robert Schumann was particularly insightful, as were his comments on listening, perfection, and the Beethoven cycle. Thanks for sharing this.
