I have been relatively silent here the past 1-2 months or so - here's perhaps the main reason:

https://app.box.com/s/ylc7affbfgpex8k54b08

The first part of my diploma concert last week. Second part was with orchestra - might post parts of that later. Program:

Beethoven - Sonata F# major op 78
Szymanowski - Two mazurkas op 62
Chopin - Berceuse
Ravel - Gaspard de la nuit
Couperin - 3 pieces from 6eme ordre of 'Pieces de clavecin'
Chopin - Etude op 10:7
Debussy - etudes for sixths, octaves and 8 fingers from Book 1

Here's the video, not as good sound quality but haven't been able to combine the audio with the video so far:

update.......why not add one of the pieces with orchestra too, though perhaps it'll be more clear here that the audio quality isn't that great. Some Carter for ya:

The piece was premiered by Barenboim (to whom it was dedicated) about a year ago, was also performed by P-L Aimard this summer - for all that I know, it hasn't been performed by anyone else so far. There's a clip of a Barenboim performance on youtube as well, but I better not start criticizing his rendition too much here ;)

That's damn impressive congratz! You surely have a brillant future.  Scarbo was intense!

Well played!

I particularly liked the Beethoven and the Ravel.

I think the Couperin sounded still a little bit right-handed, and the ornamentation could use more expressive variety (more vocal, less 'pianistic'). Do you play Les Bergeries as well?

The Chopin contained some lovely ideas, but the RH repeated notes were a bit sluggish.

Overall a very polished recital!

Woah, I hardly expected anyone to go through most of this 60-min recital! Thanks for the comments, I would agree about Couperin and Chopin (those were among the most fresh and least-performed pieces...the Chopin study I have worked on every now and then, but never performed that nor Couperin until the week before the diploma, same goes for Szymanowski and some other pieces), it'll be much better eventually, and I'll learn more Couperin when time allows for sure! Les Bergeries is lovely and on my to-do-list, have only glanced it through. Thanks again for the comments!

Am listening while I cook dinner. I'm still in the Szymanowski, but I can already tell I'm going to love the whole thing. Congratulations on an amazing performance. Waiting for your concerts here in Brazil  ;D

Wonderfully played. The Beethoven sonata was crystal-clear, full of delicacy and thunder. The Ravel  subtle and confident (nice to get a number of chances to perform and record it). Loved your Berceuse and Szymanowski. Looking forward to the concerto pieces.

Thank you for the comments, glad you enjoyed! Actually, one of the orchestra pieces is up already - updated the initial post. It's not likely I'll put up the Schumann in its entirety, there were a bunch of distracting moments and so on...and a sillly memory slip. I might upload parts of it.
