Change to Dark Text on White Background?
on: December 22, 2013, 12:44:43 AM
I'm considering switching to this forum since the forum software at PianoWorld is outdated, and missing some features that I like.

However, this forum is a little dated as well.

Is there any way to change the text/background colors?  Light text on black background is less than ideal.

Thanks!

Al

My eyes really like this set up (after I set up the font as large), but I mainly come here for the content rather than the colour of text/background  ;)

Thanks, but I'm just not finding it -- I'm sure I'm looking in the wrong place.  Here's what my look and layout preferences look like:

You have to change the settings of your browser, not the site settings.

OK, thanks, Outin, the CSS scheme worked.  It's pretty far from ideal.  Without some knowledge of hexadecimal and general computer smarts, changing to a white background would be difficult.

Here's what it looks like for me now:

P.S. The style sheet changed worked, but all the signatures disappeared.  I have gone back to the light text on a dark background.

Poems of Ecstasy – Scriabin’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

The great early 20th-century composer Alexander Scriabin left us 74 published opuses, and several unpublished manuscripts, mainly from his teenage years – when he would never go to bed without first putting a copy of Chopin’s music under his pillow. All of these scores (220 pieces in total) can now be found on Piano Street’s Scriabin page. Read more
