How did you find the pf site?
on: November 20, 2004, 07:40:14 PM
I'm curious.  I may have even posted about this before.

I did a google search for "piano forum" and guess what I found?  This was one of the decent forums that was actually alive and had some intelligence on it.  (That's right.  I think you're intelligent pookiy.  mmmm-muh!  :-*)   :o ;D

How did you get here?

having been at music-scores, chopin files, and chopin music, there's no doubt I'd at some point have heard of this place

plus, the illustrious Comme often referred to things here..
Music, even in situations of the greatest horror, should never be painful to the ear but should flatter and charm it, and thereby always remain music."

Mine's similar to Chozart except i never posted at music scores. I joined Chopin files and it was really awesome for ages until it koji left and comme got banned which sparked a mass exodus of posters (CF still hasn't recovered). But its ok because i post at more piano related forums now. :)

I had just purchased a Yamaha P90 and started reading some negative reports about it on other forums. I joined and posted questions but didn't get any replies. It seemed as though nobody was active.

I did a search using 'Yahoo' (I can't recall the exact search phrase) and it came up with this site. I joined & posted a question and received a fairly speedy reply. So it got my stamp of approval.

I found it under a list of links on Piano World. I think. I was really disappointed in the Piano World website, though, so I didn't chek out this forum until I was dying from boredom and had a bunch of time to waste. I waste my time more often now!  ;)

A friend of mine found it by googling for some method book that was evidently mentioned here.  I think it was when Kulahola was around stirring things up.  Anyway, she asked if I had ever seen it and I said 'no'.  She has since dropped away (unless she is secretly lurking   :D...).  Needless to say, I became curious (as a cat).  I had no idea that anything like this even existed.  But, I like it, I like it a lot.  So, here am I.

You need more than a piano, two hands and a brain to play music.  You also need hot sauce.
