If you want intelligent replies, don't ask stupid questions.
Every question is "stupid" because it's always the same question. Classical music scores are free online and Youtube has plenty of reference recordings. If you want to know which is harder, LOOK AT THE SCORE AND TRY IT YOURSELF.Also, there's little inclination to answer these questions because the people asking are usually not at that ability level anyway, or at least don't post evidence of their current skill level.
Well maybe I'm looking for opinions from OTHER people instead of myself?
Can't you just answer my question instead of pointing out reasons why I shouldn't ask it?
And what possible good will that do you? If you want to sate your curiosity, though, just search the forum. There have been about a million threads on this. No, but no doubt some idiot will come along and try.
J_menz, I always knew that you were a turd. You can't answer any questions rationally, you just fly off the handle and say something stupid. Answer the Dang question! Maybe you can only play Billy Joel, and are only 9, and sneak on your momma's computer? Hmmm....
Umm, that's not my post you've quoted (although I agree with it entirely). Pay more attention.

The search button works I just tried it and the definitive rating for op10. See response no 3https://www.pianostreet.com/smf/index.php?topic=48075.0"Get the crap of my post" would be nice but your post is covered in all sorts of crap, many layers actually, maybe with a paint scraper and some googone....*solicits intelligent responses but dismisses all replies by the intelligent. How ironic.Best,V
i tend to use my own personalized 'system' for these types of threads. here goes.No 1LegumeNo 2Nucleic AcidNo 3underpantsNo 4baconNo 5ambu bagNo 6yarnNo 7dog butt faceNo. 8 AnchorNo. 9AnchorNo 10enchiladaNo 11Sea cucumberNo 12anatomy chartnow this might seem randomn but hear me out....i could have given a numerical value from 1-10 with 1 being less difficult and 10 being most difficult, and guess what, it would be just as useful to you. it would be completely subjective relative to my background, opinion, training, natural talent or lack there of, familiarity with the work, disliking or liking it/them, etc.just sayin.
Which of these is harder to play from a performer's stand point?
If you are considering playing one of these yourself, why not ask which one would be harder from a listener's stand point
I mean from a performers stand point as in hard to perform.
But you see it's simply not possible to answer such a question without knowing the actual performer and the quality that is expected from the performance. There are so many ways one can ruin a piece...
I think people on here get overly sensitive and they ask questions with an answer they want to hear. And people on here have tons of knowledge and experience. They choose to be a bit of a smart donkey about it at times but over all they know what they are talking about and can prove it. I've annoyed J menz on countless occasions with small questions and big questions. He always gives me a thought out response that I can trust. Don't ask this kind of question, you'll get destroyed. Just sight read it. Or ask your teacher geeze
Okay, let me tell you what I mean by the question:Which of these works is harder to perform from the standard pianists viewpoint? STANDARD, not a person with arthritis, not a person with hand strength problems, just a standard person that does not have any notable issues.
