Steins;Gate

I was thinking in general -- Any good video series available for free online?

If you mean anime sites, there's plenty. Quality is often crappy though (480p~) The way to go with anime nowadays is P2P. You can torrent pretty much every damn series ever made. Just gotta use the right trackers.

Steins;Gate is pretty good. Not particularly amazing, but still worth your while.

hell yes!!
https://myanimelist.net/animelist/culturedswag420x

this one is super good if you are fine with lots of dialogue: https://myanimelist.net/anime/6594/Katanagatari

psycho pass is really good, even though i gave it a 9 i actually think it's better than some of my 10's

here is psycho pass preview;

it's ub0r deep, i.e. overtly displays a msg about humanity (down with departmentalization like in frost's poem 'deparmental', and people should fight against a system that suppresses their individuality even if the system is essential)

kids on the slope is chill and great as well. has jazz music context, which is reason enough to watch the anime because it is pretty sick

btw if you get into hunter x hunter past the third episode, it will become your life

watch here for exquisite 1080p:

there are much more AMAZing anime, but you can start here.

I didn't want to steal from the anime thread.  I was thinking this one could be for anything.

Torrents all the way! No matter what it is for :P

swagmaster! I'm on episode 8 of Katanagatari, pretty decent so far. Psycho-pass was great, probably the best of 2012-2013, great soundtrack too! Apollon was hella cheesy, I seriously found the story boring, but one thing you gotta give it, the music was absolutely wonderful. Also notice how the characters' hand movements are synced with the music, which is a rare sight in anime. This was, after all, a Shinchiro Watanabe series. Hunter x Hunter I feel extremely lazy to watch due to the amount of episodes, but I've gotten good reviews from friends. I was somewhat familiar with the original 1999 series, but watching the remake sounds like too much work. xD Is it worth it?

Best,
Alex

it's worth it in the sense that selling your soul to the devil is worth it, in terms of pure gratification... mmmm
psycho pass is freken amazing
katanagatari stunned me with its style and unique characters/setting
tbh kids on the slope was interesting because it was so homo in an lowkey way
