Concerts in berlin
on: July 10, 2014, 08:20:58 PM
Hello, I will be in Berlin on 16th-23rd of July and I would like to be in a concert.
I prefer piano recital which contains music from the romantic period(Rachmaninoff,Chopin,Liszt..)
Also I would enjoy a piano concerto concert.
I don't know where I can find concerts in berlin so I will really appreciate if you can help me to find classical concert in that dates.
Thanks.

Go to www.berlin.de

Select Klassische Konzerte.

You can choose English from the Sprache option by the little flag at the top.

You seem to be out of luck for that time period. July is a very fallow month for concerts and I couldn't find anything in the major concert halls, which mostly seem closed for the summer break or for renovation.

In the very good musical instrument museum they have free weekly recitals by music students on Wednesday afternoons at 15:30, they're called "jours fixe" on their site. It's near the Kulturforum which you'll probably want to visit anyway for it's museums and galleries and right next to Potsdamer Platz.
