Need feedback for Koji Kondo - Song of Healing
on: November 15, 2014, 05:26:01 AM
Greetings,
It has been awhile, I really wanted to post something to get some feedback on my overall progress but I think choosing a engineering career wasn't the best thing I could have done for my quest to become a great pianist.
Anyway!
Today I bring a old favorite of mine that I learned not long ago, composed by Koji Kondo.
"The Song of Healing" is a melody in the masterpiece The Legend of Zelda; Majora's Mask. My main concern here is dynamic contrast and evoking that melancholic feeling. My teacher thinks that it sounds quite good so he convinced me to audition tomorrow for a chance at playing in a theater in two weeks.
I know this isn't the hardest of pieces but I really want to do a good job to overcome my stage fright. Any feedback good or bad is welcome.
Thanks a lot in advance.
"This is a melody that heals evil magic and troubled spirits, turning them into masks. I am sure it will be of assistance to you in the future."
