Hi Chechig,

very short note this time, about what I've spotted, but only by very short glance:

With an approximate title of this name ( "Farewell" ) I only found this one of Dobrzynski:

Pożegnanie : polonez melancholiczny na piano forte skomponowany i ofiarowany J. Pannie J. Wulfers / by Dobrzyński, Ignacy Feliks (1807-1867)

3 s. 27x33 cm. il.

    Source: Nicolaus Copernicus University Resources
    Publisher: u A. Brzeziny i Komp. - Warszawa
   Date : 1829
Subjects: muzyka polska, polonezy (fortepian), muzyka fortepianowa, 19 w
    Language: Polish
Copyright: Domena publiczna (Public domain) Dla wszystkich bez ograniczeń https://kpbc.umk.pl/dlibra/text?id=polityka#pd

____________

But as I could see here, using the djvu-plugin "Cuminas" for my browser, https://www.cuminas.jp/en/downloads/download?pid=1 to visualize online the djvu - files of it given here,

https://kpbc.umk.pl/dlibra/docmetadata?id=84881

it doesn't seem to be the Nocturne from your linked video.

Pożegnanie means in English something like "Farewell" / "departure" / "Adieu" .

So perhaps for further searches, we should exclude THIS "Pozegnanie"-polonez of 1829, shouldn't we?

There are some nocturnes out there by Dobrzynski: Does anybody know an opus - number of the work shown in chechig's video?

Cordially, 8_octaves!

Couple of years ago I was trying to find the scores for his nocturnes, but was only able to track down one online. The others I couldn't even find from any of the sheet music stores I normally use. Out of print I guess? It's a pity, these are lovely pieces. If anyone knows where to buy them, please tell us.

Hi
Thank you so much 8octaves, you are really kind!! There is no way of finding the op of the nocturne. There is a recording by Bart Van Oort, the one in the video, and in the CD case it sais
:Pozeganie, nocturne in g minor, but nothig else. I think this time it's Mision Imposible!!
That's the word in polish you mentioned above.
In the wiki list of works by the composer, it's mentioned without an op. And again Pozeganie. Between op 11 and 12

Rehi chechig!

That's very nice, good work!! And - although I think the score should be findable, I didn't find it  :(

But I'm not sad, since I seem to have found another nocturne, at last. Perhaps you are interested in it, too?

It's in Dobrzynski's "Album pamiątkowe". (For visualization, you may need the / a djvu-plugin for your browser) :

https://polona.pl/item/1944727/2/

https://polona.pl/item/1944727/32/  ( here the nocturne begins ) .
