Hi Everyone,

This is Andante Finale de Lucia di Lammermoor Op. 13 by Theodor Leschetizky, and which is for performance by the left hand alone [and the feet, as needed, for pedaling, of course  ;)].  The pianist is Peter Ritzen, here with an unrestored 1878 Erard grand piano.

I believe that some left hand selections are good to include on recital programmes for the sake of variety as these works are underperformed.

One can find the score of Andante Finale de Lucia di Lammermoor here:

Michael

This is an interesting work. I found the third page difficult, but the rest is fairly accessible. Decent performance, but maybe a little heavy-handed? It's certainly possible to play it with more whimsy.
