Hi Everyone,

This is Andante Finale de Lucia di Lammermoor Op. 13 by Theodor Leschetizky, and which is for performance by the left hand alone [and the feet, as needed, for pedaling, of course  ;)].  The pianist is Peter Ritzen, here with an unrestored 1878 Erard grand piano.



I believe that some left hand selections are good to include on recital programmes for the sake of variety as these works are underperformed.

This is an interesting work. I found the third page difficult, but the rest is fairly accessible. Decent performance, but maybe a little heavy-handed? It's certainly possible to play it with more whimsy.
