Fugues Similar to WTC 2 E-flat major (#7, BWV876)
on: June 02, 2015, 02:10:12 AM
Hello everyone!  ;D

This is my first post- have done some google searches in the past that led me to the forum, so I figured I may as well create an account.

Anyway, on the recommendation of the user johnnypiano (see post here, ~halfway down the pg:https://www.pianostreet.com/smf/index.php?topic=6592.0, I listened to the E-flat major fugue from Book 2 and LOVE it. Are these fugues (or any other shorter bach work) that use similar compositional elements to this one or perhaps "sound similar"? If so, I'd LOVE to hear them!

Is that the only one of the 48 you listened to? If so, the remaining 47 would seem a good place to start.
