A fine job. Overall it's quite good, also a fairly restrained and tasteful approach mostly.

Personally though I like the first movement slower (I like my slow movements slooow, that's just a thing with me) and also with just a touch more creativity in the tempo throughout, but your tempo is valid. There's a lot of nice phrasing and subtle dynamics, surprising given you're at an electric keyboard.

The Allegretto was pleasant and sounded pretty good to me, of course I've listened to the outer movements far more haha. The stronger bit with those rich chords was very good in particular.

Your 3rd movement though could use some work, it's a little rough. I know it's super difficult though so the level you managed is still quite respectable. Also you have some good ideas in the dynamics department and it's nice and dramatic too.

I'm not sure about the manuscript thing, perhaps you should sync up an online file of the score? I quite enjoy that.

Keep posting, it's good stuff.

In my opinion the 1st movement is the most misplayed piece in all Beethoven music. As many seem to disregard the Alla Breve markings by Beethoven.

I am quite aware of some minor mistakes in the 3rd movement. I could have spent alot more time making more recording attempts and gotten a better one, but frankly I have worked so much on that piece I just wanted to get it done. I plan to play all Beethoven sonatas in 10 years time when I have a much more solid technical grounding than what I have at the moment. And I will then perhaps record it again. Another issue I had is that the video got out of synch with the audio file, so I had the make the video in parts and tried to put it over the audio so it made sense. Technical issue I will sort out in the future.

Thanks alot for your reply. Much appriciated.

We can agree to disagree on the tempo, Andras Schiff certainly agrees with you so what do I know haha.

And I understand the desire to just get something done. There are a couple of flaws I've let slip in some of my own recordings just because I don't want to play the damn things anymore haha.

Anyway it seems we're very similar, I too want to play all 32 sonatas over time, I guess we both have our work cut out for us eh? Good luck!
