RCM repertoire interpretation
on: October 23, 2015, 03:46:02 PM
Does anyone know of resources online, such as blogs, articles, etc. which give pointers about interpreting the music in the RCM series in a historically informed way? I'm looking for advice about things that aren't specifically written in the sheet music, such as detaching quarter notes in the left hand.

Teachers are generally the best source of balanced information
As for web resources, the YouTube channel "LivingPianosVideos" has a lot of great videos made by Robert Estrin, a concert pianist in the southern California area.
