Bach Busoni Chaconne in d minor
on: May 22, 2016, 05:03:15 AM
I just started learning this piece and I'm thinking this would be a good piece for a masters audition. Two questions.... is this a good piece for an audition? how would it be classified. would it be baroque? romantic? should i just avoid this one for an audition?

any thoughts and comments would be most helpful.

I admit I'm not too familiar with audition repertoire, but I think it's a good piece because it displays technique, virtuosi, musicality, and good "piano manners". It's hard for me to believe it would be classified as baroque.
