Hi,
I'd like to share some recordings of the Czech pianist Ivan Moravec with you. He is definitely one of my most favorite pianists, and I feel he could be acknowledged more, especially post-mortem. His playing is characterized by a great honesty and exceptionally beautiful singing tone. Having known him personally, I remember him as an extremely hard working musician, yet quite modest and kind at the same time.

Thank you for these wonderful recordings. He is such a unique pianist. I love the quiet intensity in his recordings of the Chopin nocturnes, and in the first movement of the Moonlight Sonata, which I heard with fresh ears in his hands.
