this sounds GREAT. I love the clarity and sparse pedaling.
Were you inspired by the Moriz Rosenthal recordings of this etude?

Very very professional playing. bravo. Around the one minute mark I enjoyed the non-legato.
Is this edited in any way?

what other pieces are you playing?

Thank you! I have actually never heard the Rosenthal recording and usually when learning a piece I try to not get too much inspirations from other pianists. And no, this isn't edited. I don't really like the idea of editing recordings.

Right now I am really just preparing some stuff for a competition on saturday, but after the competition I am starting the paganini rhapsody by Rach, and I am also polishing Scriabin op. 74 preludes for an upcoming competition.
