Audio and video recording equipment?
on: November 14, 2020, 12:06:58 AM
Christmas is coming up.

I've got a Zoom or something around.... Somewhere... From over ten years ago.

What are some recommendations for audio recorders?

What are some recommendations for video recorders?

For audio recorders...   (It's not a Zoom I got.  It's an Edirol... Roland Edirol I think.)  I'm looking for something that's got good audio of course, beats and old Edirol, and is still pocket-size like the Edirol.  I remember the Zoom now and still see it -- Those top pieces stick out too much.  The Edirol was just a bit smaller and fits in a pocket better.

What about external mics to plug into a small Edirol-like device?

For a video recorder, it would be something that does video and audio.  I'm not messing with combining audio and video later on a computer for this.

For both devices, it would be for music of course, but also general use.

What devices are good?

What specs are good now?  I would imagine the Edirol specs have been surpassed in ten or more years.

Looks like this is what the Edirol evolved into.
