My own piano recordings (new)
on: February 06, 2005, 11:39:52 PM
Here are two recordings from a recent concert I had with several ensembes from my school. I also played Ravels "Sonatine" and Dvoraks "Dumky trio", but unfortentately they didn't get recorded. I have the sonatine on video, but the quality is really bad and the file is too big to upload anyway...

The two pieces I uploaded are Ravels "Piece en forme de habanera", on which my friend Björn plays cello. The second piece is Rachmaninovs "Romance" for two pianos from his 2nd suite, op.17, on which Anders plays the second piano. My piano was placed behind his, which felt good while we were playing because we heard each other very good. However, the result was that my piano was heard less than his..

If you liked it, tell me :)  If not, shut up ;D

Anyway, here's the link: https://www.angelfire.com/music6/pianostuff18098

Also, I have some earlier concert recordings availeble here:

And here's "Rhapsody in blue" with my school orchestra, too: https://www.angelfire.com/music6/pianostuff18

hehe, I know... I thought you were talking about some of the new recordings first (Ravel or Rachmaninov), which are without clarinet, and I was thinking, what the hell are they talking about?! ;)

hey I saw you on "Gamingforce."
anyway I'm learning Chopin's A-flat ballade right now, it was nice to see it on your page. I like the recording too. Rachmaninoff recorded himself playing it, have you heard that one?

I've only heard a bit of that recording... I should buy all of his recordings of the piano concertos someday.
By the way, didn't he do several recordings of the concertos? I was wondering if you could hear a lot of difference between the recordings, or if he played them the same way.

It's never too late! I promise you. I didn't practice much at all 2 years ago, and I have my teacher to thank for making me more interrested in playing and practicing more. If you really want to become better, just work on it. It's not too late :)

Yeah Ingemar inspired to keep pushing my boundries, I love him. <3 I practise as much as I can, I've finally reached the Fantasie Impromptu after almost 2 years of playing. But you got to play with a orchestra. :P For just playing serious for 3 years you have achived A LOT.  :o *stabs* .... *stabs a little more* ... *regrets* .... *stabs once more for luck*
