on: November 07, 2021, 08:49:10 AM
Hi guys! I just got the new Bechstein hammer set installed on my Model L. How do you find the sound? I was a bit skeptical at first but now I am beginning to like it I think haha..

Hey! It's a bit hard to hear with the acoustics in the room, but I think it sounds fine! Nice playing btw

I've been awaiting to hear how it turned out  8)

The scale seems more even across the keyboard.  The tone appears darker, but also posses a more complex depth to it.

How was the change in action response?  It sounds like you have increased clarity with repeated notes.

Classy playing as always  ;D
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

I really like the way you play the Prelude! I feel like you have a lot of control over the softer ranges which gives it a velvety texture (I think this may be a result of your new tuning). Also, I really like the way you gradually crescendo and diminuendo over long phrases. It's very fun to listen to!
