I have a few upcoming auditions in february-march 2024, for the audition i need bach prelude, a virtuosic chopin etude, a classical sonata and a substantial romantic piece (i.e. no short dances, preludes, nocturnes etc.) so my teacher and I came up with this:
1. Prelude and fugue no. 10 in E minor, WTC part. 2
2. Etude op. 10 no. 8 or Etude op. 25 no. 8 (hardest chopin etudes previously played being op. 10 no. 4 and op. 25 no. 10)
3. Beethoven: Sonata no. 26 in E major
4. Chopin: Fantasy in F minor or Ballade no. 2 in F major (Really wanted to play a piece by Chopin, previously played ballades no. 1 and 3 as well as scherzi no. 1 and 2)
What do you guys think? Which one should I pick between the options?
P.S. I've noticed some users have like a caption below their posts, how can I add that to my account?
