I have visited the place and heard many students play. The technical level was overall high with some surprising exceptions. It's impossible to tell if you have a chance to get in without hearing you play.I'm not sure I was impressed by the actual teaching there, though. In general, I would advice people who are interested in certain schools or teachers to look for an opportunity to have a private lesson with a teacher from that palce or the teacher you are interested in. That enables you to get a feel for the thing and to receive advice on how to proceed from the teacher.
Have you seen any teaching occur at the Academy?
As to my playing, well, the hardest I've seriously performed are the Schumann Concerto, Scriabin fantasy, etc. This was during my college years.Would you be open to a private message? I could send an audio sample of my playing if you allow.
Do I have any chance at all of being admitted here?I got a Bachelor's in Piano Performance and am from a 3rd world country.Liszt is my favorite composer though and I desire to take Graduate studies there. But I don't know how probable that is...Anyone ever studied there or know a friend who did?Thank you.
Out of curiosity why did u specifically want to go here?
Well Liszt is my favorite composer so I kind of want to experience how it is like to be in that environment. Also for the added credentials and experience.I do need to take up a Graduate program anyways that is related to my interest
