What's your favorite decade of music?
It could be the
1780's (Mozart's final works, Beethoven's early period, etc)
1830's (Chopin, Mendelssohn, Schumann, etc)
I think my favorite decade is the 1900's or the following decade. It includes pieces by Debussy, Ravel, Bartok, Prokofiev's early pieces, etc.
If you're a student, think of a few words that describe that decades approach to music.  For 1900's, I would say, "bold new ideas in the concept of what piano music can be, as well as in composition harmony and form."

You can ask Chat GPT for a list of piano compositions in any time period, but make sure you check the results, it can make mistakes.

I do love Bach, but that covers a large span of time and anyways, I consider mature Mozart to be the best music and Bach to be the best composer if that makes sense.

Probably the 1830s then, because that's when Chopin wrote/published most of my favorite compositions by him

It's between the 1900s and the 1910s. It feels insensitive to call the 1910s a 'favourite decade' given the war, so I'll go with 1900s.
