Bridging the Gap to Winter Wind

I am currently in the process of studying the ‘Revolutionary’ etude from opus 10, and am wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a few pieces I can focus on after this etude in order to build the technical skill required for Op. 25 No. 11, ‘Winter Wind’.
Would it be worthwhile to work my way up to it through the 24 etudes?

I don't think Winter Wind is necessarily that much worse than the revolutionary. But it depends on your personal strengths and weaknesses. If you can pull off the revolutionary with technical accomplishment I think you are ready to start winter wind.

Well, there are some nice videos on Youtube identifying the patterns in the music. Go try for yourself and see if you can find them, if you can, give it a try! Maybe work on chromatic scales beforehand, though.
