No you don’t get to end the convo after saying something so vague without substance.
Do I need to dive in to all the research about this subject and respond to you with dissertations?
I'd be more than happy to, if given the promise that you'll bother to read all of it and respond continue with actual discussion.
PIANOSTREET is a type of social media.
"Social media" is a spectrum. When I refer to "social" media, I'm generally referring to the far end of the spectrum; say, a 95/100 or higher. Pianostreet would fall at about a 65-75 (IMO). Since we're currently talking about Instagram (which is close to a 100), pulling PS into this discussion serves no point.
Asking for an instragram isn’t a big deal stop being so dramatic.
From my point of view, there are two possibilities here.
1. You don't know enough about cybersecurity to realize that this is a pretty big deal.
2. You do know enough about cybersecurity to know that this is a big deal, and are abusing that knowledge.
In the case that one is true (which I am almost sure of), you need to research this stuff more for your own safety.
In the case that two is true, then go somewhere else.
If you have a problem with Instagram, the app isn’t the problem YOU’RE the problem. It’s an algorithm that’s essentially a reflection of yourself. If you run into a lot of “negative” stuff on it, that’s because you like it. Not because social media is inherently negative.
Nice strawman you got there. Never said anything about "me having a problem with Instagram".
Also, I don't use Instagram, so your point about me "running into a lot of 'negative' stuff on it being because I like it" is completely irrelevant.
And in case you were going to respond with something like:
WeLl SiNcE yOu DoN't UsE iT yOu ClEaRlY dOn'T kNoW aNyThInG aBoUt It.
I've spent hundreds, if not thousands of hours looking at the research surrounding the negative and positive effects of "social" media, and of screens in general. If you want, I can give you few things that come to mind.
Fair warning though: it probably won't make you very happy, assuming there's no ulterior motive to this thread (
which, to be clear, I highly doubt there is).
Have a nice day.
