Teachers in Germany.any ideas?
on: March 29, 2005, 11:27:33 AM

Am about to graduate from one of the royal schools of music uk and am planning to study in Germany for a year before doing postgraduate course in London.  the deadlines for applications to the 'Hochschule' have come a little sooner than anticipated and taken me a little by surprise.  Basically I was wondering if anybody knows of, or can recommend any good teachers in Germany (not Kammerling or hellwig please), no room in their class.  I've applied to Berlin, Munich, Cologne, Hannover and Lubeck, but am interested in suggestions from any other centres.  Help would be appreciated. Cheers! :)

yes!
I am one!!  ;D Yes I AM being serious about it.
But then again you are probably looking for a more 'known and established' school. How good is your German?
I'm sure I can give you some more info on your question just not right now. I'll be back!

Sounds intriguing sarahlein.  What do you teach exactly? and whereabouts? Anybody know anything about Konrad Elser?
